In this evening session, meteorologist Dr Nick D'Adamo, Officer in Charge of the Perth Programme Office of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission, will put rising sea and air temperatures, and associated weather patterns, in the context of regionally relevant applications such as agriculture and coastal protection.
Following the keynote, you will also have the opportunity to directly interact with UWA experts on coastal impacts, environmental protection and policy, renewable energy, and urban development:
