★★★★★ "This is a must-see show; one that will probably be talked about for years, and likely a theatrical experience you will never forget" – ArtsHub

An internationally renowned hour of life affirming humour. Performed in-the-round, audiences become part of the story, playing fathers, lovers, and friends following one person's life in the shadow of mental illness, guided by the incredible solo performance of Luke Hewitt. This joyous work shows us the miracles in life's minutiae.

Let's start way back when. Mum's depressed – she's in a place so dark it's confronting for a child, so her son starts compiling a list of every brilliant thing in life – a child's reasons to help mum keep going. Now it's 20 years later and the child's grown up. But he's still compiling his list. What started as a naïve way of getting through the day has become a profound truth – that beauty and joy can be found in the everyday.

This gem of a show was designed to be uplifting, and it does it brilliantly. It is a pure celebration of life, played out in a simple, utterly surprising way.

"One of the funniest plays you'll ever see about depression – and possibly one of the funniest plays you'll ever see, full stop." - The Guardian

"Brilliant." - The Sydney Morning Herald

"This is a must-see show." - ArtsHub

"Incredibly uplifting, the audience drawn into a celebration of the things that make life worth living, in a beautiful piece of communal theatre."  - Limelight

Mum’s in hospital. Dad says she’s "done something stupid". So I’m working on a list.

#1. Ice cream
#2. Water fights

Everything that’s brilliant about the world

#5. Things with stripes
#25. Wearing a cape

Everything that’s worth living for.

#314 The Way Ray Charles sings the word ‘You’
#319. Laughing so hard you shoot milk out of your nose
#823. Skinny Dipping

I’m going to try to get to one million.
