Caledonian Castaways, a group of ex-pat Scots from Melbourne’s blues/roots scene, present amusing and heartwarming stories about their journeys from Scotland to Australia.
The combined writing talents of Steve Boyd and Alex Burns means beautifully crafted original songs, set to ska, rocksteady, funk, blues and country grooves.
A great live show is assured with Tommy McEwan on drums, Chris Rogers on Bass and Ska Orchestra/Ska Vendors singer Stevie Montgomery fronting the group. Steel guitar, accordion, trumpet and harmonica add warm layers of sound. Is this a new genre?………… Hoots Roots!
On Friday 25 January join us for a special 90 minute BURNS NIGHT supper show, complete with bag-piper, haggis, neeps and drams! The cost of this light supper and whisky dram is included in the ticket price.
Seating will be cabaret style seating.
