Discard your shoes, don an eye mask, and immerse yourself in a restorative meditation. Suitable for children ages 7 and up. All welcome.

Conversations with Rain
Until 4 Nov | FREE

During The Botanical: Beauty and Peril exhibition, visit the Imagination Room and be part of the Conversations with Rain project exploring children’s creative responses to weather and our relationship to the environment and climate change. Make your own book of rain out of re-purposed materials, read hand-made books from the Library of Rain made by multi-generational AGWA Audiences, and listen to the soundscape made with paper and pencils.

Birds of Beauty and Peril
Until 4 Nov | FREE

Join us in The Botanical: Beauty and Peril activity area after your visit and draw a magnificent winged beauty or a frightening flight of feathers in response to the exhibition. While you are visiting the exhibition look out for children’s labels created by City Beach Primary School students through HOT (Higher Order Thinking) Art workshops, a pilot project amplifying children's voices in gallery spaces.
