Presented by The Last Great Hunt
Created and written by Gita Bezard and Jeffrey Jay Fowler, this new premiere work by one-out Australia's hottest theatrical outfits; The Last Great Hunt, is a dark comedy about the games people play when their egos are injured.
Debut author Fiona West has written what the literati are calling; 'the greatest novel of the 21st century'. When career maker-and-breaker, Paul Creel, reviews the manuscript he finds his life represented in shockingly accurate detail: he finally feels understood.
The impressed Creel invites West for a casual ‘wine and chat’ two days before her book is to be published, but when they meet he discovers that West’s book, which he considers an elegant insight into the mind of modern man, was written as a hysterical satire! Creel leaves the meeting determined to bury West's book for good. But West isn't a fool, and so the games ensue.
